Topic: Managing Trauma for More Vibrant Sex, Pleasure and Relationships — the subtitle for The Trigger Trap (Chicago Review Press, 2021)
In effort to ensure that this book reflects the experiences of a broad range of people, we’re seeking a few more people who identify as men, masculine of center (butch, trans-masculine, androgynous…) of any sexual orientation (including gray/ace spectrum) who are interested in speaking with August about their experience via Zoom, Skype, phone, email and/or text. Things to know:
-Anonymity: Selected interviewees can remain anonymous in the book, if desired.
-Inclusivity: It’s important to Jamila and me that this book incorporate a wide range of lived experiences and perspectives. For that reason, you’ll find places to optionally notate particulars such as race, age, gender identity and sexual orientation.
-Any/all types of trauma: While this book will focus largely pleasure, sex and relationships, featured stories will involve various types of trauma, not just sexual trauma.

This survey is primarily an interview screening step, so please don’t stress over sentence structure and the like. Take care of yourself, sharing what you wish to and nothing more.
